Best thing that happened to me today...

I went to pick up a years-worth of contacts (that were completely covered by insurance at the church. Thank you Saddleback Church and HealthComp for the fantastic benefits package) at Rancho Santa Margarita Optometry and they told me that I get a $70 rebate for buying so many boxes of contacts.

I will probably spend this money on:

New sunglasses


One tank of gas for my car


put it toward paying off my rolling stop ticket


Sperry Top Sider boating shoes


black Rainbows


A dinner for one at Morton's



...but I'll probably put it in my checking account and use it to nurse my addiction to McDonald's and El Pollo Loco.

Graduation

This past weekend I went to San Antonio to surprise my friend, Nelson. He graduated from dental school. It was an incredible weekend filled with lounging by the pool, eating excellent food and hanging out with the most welcoming and friendly people. It reminded me how much I still love and miss Texas...but I still love California though.
